niallon's video: I Put A Spell On You Nina Simone - Cover

So here it is, my second Halloween contribution. I know this isn't technically a Halloween themed song beyond the title but hey, I needed something a bit more simple after last week and it's also a song I've wanted to cover for the longest time! The last, and probably only, song of this type I've done previously is "I Will" and since then I've been trying to get back to some more bluesy/soul music. I really enjoy singing songs of this style and it doesn't hurt that they are mostly a blank canvas too - keep the most important themes and melodies but besides that go do it your way. Those are the most fun songs for me to cover. That said I do wish I hadn't got a horrendous head cold last week so most likely this will be another one of those 'wish I could do it again' videos I harp on about in six months time but hey, thems the breaks!
