niallon's video: In A Moment Original

This is another of my more recent compositions. Again it was a rare occurrence where I actually wrote the music before the lyrics, never my preferred style. Even more rare, I actually brainstormed the lyrics. I had the riff first, then a song wrapped around that. This meant I'd literally nothing lyrically so I ended up doing my best impersonation of a mad scientist in front of a blackboard. What I ended up with was a song that lyrically reflected what I was feeling at the time, getting back something - songwriting - that I thought was maybe gone for good.
