niallon's video: December Original

I wrote this song back in 2016. At the time I hadn't written anything for years and didn't think I'd write again to be honest. As you can probably tell from the lyrics, there was an event that served as a catalyst for writing this song but to be honest, ask any songwriter, the break ups are the easy ones. The low hanging fruit of songwriting. Hell I've even written a break up song about a relationship I was never even in to begin with! I said back when I uploaded Good Things Fall that I had both acoustic and rock arrangements of these songs and I wasn't quite sure which side I was going to fall on when it comes to properly recording and releasing these tracks. Well, if you hadn't guessed this is one from the rock category. There are two reasons why I'm not sure which direction I'm gonna go in - namely that I'm not certain about my production abilities when it comes to the more complex rock arrangements and that I'm just straight up not sure which arrangements I prefer.
