Nowadays I don't always necessarily buy the palest option available as there's a better chance there will be something with warm or yellow undertones available that might be a little darker. I have very pale skin with subtle yellow undertones and freckles that I'm not trying to cover. My favorite slightly darker and more yellow bases are Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 095W and Colourpop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer in 2W. My favorite concealers are Cover FX Power Play Concealer in N Fair 1 and MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NC10 (for less coverage, more natural finish).
