Kids these days and their blocks...it's Blockids. Block...kids. Blockids. For the Sony PlayStation! The PS1! The real deal! This game was developed by Athena and originally released in Japan in 1996. The version I have it the 2003 North American release from Natsume. Blockids is basically a 3D Breakout game. Or Arkanoid. It's a simple game...and it's simple. Not much going on beyond standard block breaking activities. Sure, you can make the ball jump or bounce into the air, and the blocks can be stacked up vertically, and there's a "boss" level every 10th board. But that's it. Not too much. There's not support for the analog sticks on your Dual Shock, so you'll have to use the d-pad....OR....a mouse! Yes, this game support the Sony mouse, and it works really really well. So so well. It's very smooth and responsive and you have many speed settings available so you can probably get it to feel just how you want. Blockids! I always yell a lot in these descriptions. Especially at the end! Of the description! I use lots of half-sentences! Heck, quarter-sentences!
