Join me for an outing along the Thames Estuary which was filmed earlier this year before the lockdown was in place. I'm sure that the Victorians would find it ever so amusing to imagine future people such as myself searching for what they threw out with the rubbish. But for me, finding an old toothpaste pot lid is a definitely highlight. And a small piece of metal with an address on it can lead to learning something new. Some discarded rubbish from long ago mixed up with some nature shots from along the Estuary - I hope you enjoy this little outing and the miscellaneous information that you might learn once we go back to the studio for a round up. I also mention in the round up a project that I am working on about a WW2 Naval Officer and an Oxford Don, whose suitcase of letters and photos I am currently going through.
