During one of my last mudlarking outings along the River Thames before the lockdown I found something which made me laugh out loud with delight! It was actually 13th February, and the first half of this video was filmed that day. At first I didn't see exactly what it was, but shortly afterwards it dawned on me what it was, and it really did fill me with great delight and joy. Join me as I go mudlarking on the Thames and see what I discover in the gloopy mud. Then come back to my studio where I keep all my Thames finds, for a round up. On this occasion we take a look at some of my clay pipe finds. During the lockdown there is no mudlarking, but I have plenty of footage going back at least a couple of years and so this is giving me an opportunity to go back through it and make some videos finally with footage from long ago.
