The total driving time was 17 hours. We drove to Copenhagen Denmark passing through Hamburg Germany for about 9 hours. It was a snowy drive and we arrived in Copenhagen around 5PM. We didn't have time to check the city but we didn't miss visiting the famous Little Mermaid statue. We took a lot of pictures and we drove another hour to Lund Sweden where we cross the bridge of Copenhagen Denmark and Malmo Sweden. We spend the night at Radisson Blue Hotel in Lund Sweden before we continue our journey to Oslo. The next day, we took our time to take breakfast (it was a full meal) before we drove to Gothenburg. Gothenburg is the second-largest city in Sweden that we decided to check out before driving further to our destination in Oslo. When we arrived Gothenburg, all the stores were closed because it was the afternoon of Christmas eve. Only groceries were open as many were rushing to do the last-minute shopping. It was a very cold afternoon but we were amazed by the beauty of the city center. We forget almost that we need to be on time for Christmas eve in Oslo. So our traveling had to continue as we needed more time on the border of Norway for the required COVID19 swab test. It was still 4PM but the roads were dark already. Luckily, the visibility was good and it was not snowing. When we arrived the border, we are surprised that the control check was open but no inspections. We were able to drive without the hassled of swab test. But we were aware that a self test had to be done once we arrived in Oslo. Should our self test turned positive, we need to have another PCR test and eventually do the mandatory quarantine. After another 8 hours of driving, we reached finally our destination Oslo City. Biyahero @Jason Manrique , who is already staying there for a week welcomed us. He had even a surprise for me. Before having the traditional Christmas dinner, we decided to have a quick walk of the city. To our surprise, Oslo was like a deserted beautiful snow-white city. It was like the city was only for us at that time. It was such a memorable Christmas evening with the Biyaheros before we continue our adventure to Bergen which can be watched on my other travel vlogs. Thank you for watching and I hope that you enjoy the drive as much as I enjoyed it. Biyahero - nlavin Copenhagen About Copenhagen Copenhagen was once a Viking fishing settlement, and you can still find traces of the Norse explorers here. Visit reconstructed villages, the remains of a 1,000-year-old castle, and museums dedicated to the notorious raiders. Copenhagen also features a blend of modern architecture and historical artifacts such as the Round Tower observatory – a wonderful example of 17th-century architecture. Art galleries, narrow streets, canals, parks, and Baroque churches round out the city’s cultural attractions. The Little Mermaid About Born of a fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the statue incarnation of the Little Mermaid has watched over Copenhagen's harbor since 1913. In 2010, Den Lille Havfrue, as she is known in Danish, left her post to represent Denmark at the World's Fair in Shanghai. Our contemporary hotel lies close to both Lund city center and the Ideon Science Park, making it a ideal base for sightseers and business travelers alike. The hotel is also well-placed for visiting Malmö and Copenhagen. (source: Radisson Blu Hotel Website) About Gothenburg Celebrate the wonders of the land and sea in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city and home to Liseberg amusement park, the country’s tourist attraction. Visiting Gothenburg Archipelago is a must, as is sampling everything from modern gastronomy to "fika" to the fresh-caught wonders at one of the many seafood restaurants. Be sure to take in the Gothenburg Museum of Art, stunning contemporary art at Röda Sten Art Centre, and—if you visit in August—the incredible Way Out West music festival. (Source: Wikipedia)
