@Tuna Fishing at Wedgeport, Nova Scotia (1940s, Pt. 1 of 2)
Friends and family tuna fishing at Wedgeport, Nova Scotia (catching two "five hundred pounders"). The group stayed at Braemar Lodge near Yarmouth. The film also includes pollock and trout fishing near Port Maitland. In the early to mid 20th century, many people traveled here due to large amounts of tuna in the area. It is known as the Historic Sport Tuna Fishing Capital of the World.
