nullschool's video: Dust over East Asia late March to mid-April 2023

@Dust over East Asia, late March to mid-April, 2023
This time lapse animation shows dust "extinction", a measure of how thick the air is with particulates, over East Asia from late March to mid-April, 2023. Seasonal winds pick up dust from deserts in China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan, and blow it eastward. Lighter colors represent more dust. This animation stitches together forecast data from each run of the GEOS-5 model to produce an 18-day sequence.
