A person died while homeless every nine hours in 2020. (Dying Homeless Coalition). The Museum of Homelessness’ survey counted 976 deaths across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in 2020 – a 37 per cent rise on the numbers reported in their 2019 count.
