ONEighty Athletics's video: Med Ball Side Toss Progression Bridge the Gap between the weight room and the field

@Med Ball Side Toss Progression | Bridge the Gap between the weight room and the field
How we can Bridge the Gap between the weight room and the field? I wanted to shoot you a video of how we teach our Med Ball Throws, some things to look out for, how to clean them up, and how to get more from them. MB throws are a great way to get the strength gains from the weight room to translate to the field... But they have to be performed correctly to maximize their effectiveness. A few things to look for and cue are: Load the back leg/hip Stiff front side Create Hip/Shoulder Separation Correct these in your programming and you should see some significant power increases in your hitters and pitchers. Remember, rotational power comes from the ground up, not your core. Your core transfers the force generated from your lower half. I said it in the video but I think it warrants mentioning again... DO NOT MIMIC YOUR SWING WITH THROWING MEDBALLS! IT WILL SCREW IT UP~! PS - Maximize your TEAMS Speed, Power, Health, and Athletic Potential by joining our Elite Baseball Program. https://oneightyathletics.com/elite-baseball-inseason1
