Boyd Barclay, born in 1940, served two tours in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He talks about his background and his decision to join the U.S. Marine Corps. He describes his training and the different types of situations he faced in the military. He details both of his tours and his experiences in Vietnam. He explains how he was injured and how that and serving in the military has impacted his life. He comments on the anti-war movements and the treatment of Vietnam veterans after they returned from the conflict. This interview was conducted as part of the Armed Forces in Oklahoma Series of the Spotlighting Oklahoma Oral History Project at the OSU Library.
