The Victorian Mallee town of Woomelang in North Western Victoria was hit by a violent thunderstorm with heavy rain and extremely strong winds. It's estimated at least half the homes in the town have damage ranging from missing roof tiles to entire roofs being ripped off. Air conditioners were ripped from walls and hurled metres away. Many trees have been up-rooted. One farmer lost 4 silos, 3 sheds, an auger, a field bin and most of his unharvested grain crop. Locals and State Emergency Services worked hard through the night to help residents secure their homes. This clip was cut from the O-Line Video/Media file tape, of that event.
