In this year February 2020, later, we decided to visit a tribal village which is located in Valparai (Coimbatore) for the Festival of Maha Shivratri, it is the first time in our life, and the tribal village is located near Kerala Border, it becomes a different experience for us, because we heard tribes celebrate this occasions in different way, like they do Shivratri dance and create Special Shivratri songs and music, so we likely to engage this occasion, experiencing the best Shivratri bhajan at Tribal Village. Facts About Maha Shivratri: * Lord Shiva married Parvati on this day * when the Gods and demons churned the ocean together to obtain ambrosia that lay in its depths, a pot of poison eluted. Then the Lord Shiva consumed the poison, saving both the Gods and mankind. The poison lodged in the Lord’s throat, turning him blue. So, the whole world celebrated the Shivratri. * Goddess Ganga descended from heaven in full force, Lord Shiva caught her in his matted locks, and released her on to Earth as several streams. It prevents out earth. Shivalinga is bathed on this light.
