Charted on 2020.05.16 Astronomia is a song by Vicetone & Tony Igy. It was popularized in late April 2020 with it being overlaid over a group of Ghanaian pallbearers dancing as they carried a coffin in a funeral, following any possible unfortunate incidents as a form of dark comedy. The song has gained much more popularity since the meme's takeoff, leading to many composers to remix the song itself. On 14 May 2020, electronic composer Camellia tweeted a poll asking if he should make a remix to one of two popular meme songs. While he ultimately decided to work on them both, he decided that the winner would have its remix made first. Astronomia won the poll over Noisestorm's Crab Rave, and a stream of him composing the remix began seven hours after the tweet was made. The remix was released two days later, on 16 May 2020. The remix is notable for its second buildup utilizing the soundfont of Toby Fox's MEGALOVANIA, and its last drop containing numerous samples of popular western and eastern memes. This chart was made instantly after the remix was uploaded, but was never uploaded with a preview yet. I only posted this in my community tab though to show you guys that I did.
