@Owenshire: Voice of Michael (R.E.M. Tribute) [Voice of Harold Homage]
Artist: Owenshire Track: Voice Of Michael [R.E.M. Voice of Harold Homage] Album: Remember Every Moment (201X) Notes: pure tenor quality Access: WAV: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ismpvsk0nd6928i/Owenshire%20Voice%20Of%20Michael%20Remember%20Every%20Moment%202014%20Unmastered.wav Commentary: I realize that many of you have no interest in R.E.M. covers, and I completely get that; however, I'm hoping some of you will check this out simply as a curiosity. While preparing a cover of "Seven Chinese Brothers," (which I'll post in a week or so) I decided to also do a type of "Voice of Harold" homage where I would sing a song based largely on the titles of R.E.M. songs, with a bit of their history thrown in. And additionally, to make it more challenging, I'd try to pick titles that matched the syllables and vowel sounds of the vocal delivery from "Voice of Harold." What follows isn't perfect, but I'm happy enough with the results that any hardcore R.E.M. fan should pick up on what I've done here. Anyway, I name 63 songs not counting the one I say three times, and incidentally the whistling part is missing at the end because, well, I can't whistle. Thanks as always. PS. Forgive my thick fake Southern accent. I don't know what came over me...lol.
