Veturitie street was reopened after some years of closure; now 100 meters east from its original location. Compared to the old one, the new street also has a very nice bike path on its eastern side. This new route is a flat alternative to the hilly Ratapihankatu on the eastern side of the Pasila railway station. As special detail, Veturitie and the new bike path is routed through the Tripla complex. Mall of Tripla is currently the largest mall in the Northern Europe based on the number of leasable units (e.g. shops).
