paulchartley's video: Literally Genesis 36

@Literally Genesis 36
Welcome to part thirty six in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it. In this episode the original authors decided that having finally buried Isaac so that he couldn't cause any more trouble, what we wanted now was to be treated to a good old fashioned biblical list so they dug deep and gave us the genealogy of Esau and his descendants. Of course like all good lists of vital information that will be relied on to settle all manner of disputes, it was compiled by committee and so we have several sections that are duplicated, completely irrelevant facts inserted at random and by the time they got to the end of it they had managed to mix up several of the characters and contradict themselves several times. But of course, this is Literally Genesis so we put back in all those things that the original authors wanted to add but couldn't and so we get to find out once more who juggled badgers, who never discovered Australia and who died a gruesome death after an encounter with an industrial sausage making machine.
