paulchartley's video: Literally Genesis 37

@Literally Genesis 37
Welcome to part thirty seven in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it. In this episode we meet Jacob's (or is that Israel's) son, Joseph and we hear about his dreams and find out why he is so unpopular with his brothers, so unpopular that they hatch a devious plan to deal with him but will Joseph meet a sticky end or will this be the start or a whole new adventure. And since the Lord has fired the writers and then crushed their replacement under a small mountain range for writing a list so boring that even a thing called a telephone directory would be more interesting, will the new writer find favour as unlike any of the other stories in the book of Genesis, the Joseph story can be clearly identified as a work of literature with plot devices to advance the story and a omnipresent narrator perspective, able to relate the events of the story regardless of the fact that events within the story are occurring in separate geographic locations simultaneously.
