The promise of spring after a somewhat harsh winter is always something all of us look forward to with hope in our hearts. We too are looking forward to the coming of spring and with it we bring forth sizzling new releases to welcome it in properly. One of our most recent finds is the much promising artist that answers to the name Lodos. He has been working hard to perfect his sound while seeking to establish his own name within the scene. His recent creation Blue Crush is featured with pride on our sub-label “Perfecto Black”, a dream realized for this fortunate soul. Throbbing echo infused basslines spiked with a ping pong effect that delights the ear, are paired up quite harmoniously with a vibrant percussion. A distant intricate melody falls in accordingly, adding an extra depth and a sense of mystery to the tune. Laid back yet enchanting spliced up female vocals follow, alongside brief choir segments, acid lines and deeper, ominous, underground ish leads. All of this creates a rather electrifying atmosphere that ultimately guides us towards the break. Finding ourselves within the break, we begin to experience and witness lush female vocal exhales and epic orchestral pads, which miraculously instill a mild sense of refreshment within our soul. These moments pass swiftly as the track builds with the use of frantic fills and seductive female vocal segments, thrusting us all back to reality. Our mind soars while our feet move without a care in the world. Our worries and tiredness are lifted as pure euphoria is unleashed!
