In “Ameritum” the listener is greeted by pounding basslines, an aggressive percussion and an assortment of well chopped vox. Dark grooves loom all over everything while curious melodies seep in like starlight on a moonless night. Eerie female vocals float ever inwards out of the darkness while various effects flutter about like moths in search of the light. The break sports orchestral melodies, and those eerie female vocals enhanced with an echo effect making this a match made in heaven. The energy builds like a chemical concoction ready to boil over as furious leads charge ahead, eliminating anything that lies in their path. “Ass Up”: A vibrant percussion ready to steal the show kicks this one off paired up with an according bassline and frantic fills. A techy electroish synth assumes a starring role while bubbly synths complete this aural recipe. The break brings with it a joyful/playful melody which instantly improves our mood while a cheeky male vocal one liner initiates the next phase of the tune. An electro/dubstep affair of sorts among a frantic cheering sending the audience into a frenzy. Led and bubbly synths are all present here forever building the anticipation and ultimate climax of the tune. “The Light”: The dark techy grooves continue on this one, decorated by voices protruding deep from the shadows. Grunty metallic noises and peculiar yet mystifying melodies appear while a dark male vocal narrative adds an extra depth and character to the tune. He commands us all with ultimate authority to move our bodies and sway helplessly to the beat. The break contains regal choir segments, granular synthwork and the return of the authoritative vocal narrative, inspiring us all to give into the temptation and let loose, with no regard for the problems tomorrow may bring.
