The first installment in a series of videos focused on how to construct a simple Arduino-based Volume Units (VU) Meter. This video includes a discussion of the basic functionality of the meter, my objectives when designing this project, and a series of clips of the meter responding to multiple sample music tracks. All the music used in this video was provided by Youtube royalty free and can be found inside the Creator section of one's Youtube channel. The next video will discuss the parts, schematic, and assembly of the circuitry associated with the meter. The video after that will discuss the Arduino code. The plan is to upload the parts, etc., video within the upcoming week and the code video the week after.
