Here is an example of the quality of the Sony FDR AX700 video camera. I've been using it for about 6 months. Before this I had the Sony FDR AX100. I used the Sony FDR AX100 as one of my video cameras for over 3 years. Very similar in size, but this camera the Sony FDR AX700 is of a much higher quality. I like the dual memory card slots. What I don't like is the toggle switch to switch from photo to video and night vision switch. It moves much slower where on my other Sony camera it was just a lever switch and your done. It now is about 5 seconds slower and in the world of video and photography I have missed some opportunities to record quick moments I wanted to catch. All in all the Sony FDR AX700 is a nicer quality for quality, just a little difficult to switch options when speed is critical. I also must say many of the house photos I've used in marketing have been pulled right out of the video. I also want to note when filming fast moving objects such as a baseball this camera really shines. Its awesome on tracking fast moving objects.
