A Piano Perspective: Chopin - "Waltz in C sharp minor" Composer: Frederic Chopin This piece is so hard. Especially since it (in my opinion) should sound "easy". Aside from technical and musical difficulties in this piece, the hardest part is timing. I had to do several takes, and even so I think I'm not completely satisfied. (am I ever?) However, I liked this version as I think it got a character along the way, worth to be shown. There are many different versions out there, that "break the rules" of the sheet music, but it seems no matter how you play this piece, it's always, so god damn good. Chopin is one of my favorite composers, and I think everyone in the world should know about the piano-titan he actually was. Listen to Yuja Wangs version. She completey plays it's "against" the score, but oh so beautiful.
