Brazilian tourist Alexandre De Amorim Teixeira captures the scary moment in Times Square on May 1, 2010 when an SUV packed with a (failed) fertilizer/propane/gasoline/fireworks bomb starts having small explosions going off inside of it. By small, by no means do we mean your 4th of July firecrackers. As Alexandre films an arriving fire truck, an audible and startling BOOM erupts from the SUV and the gathering crowd starts running while police start evacuations of the area. Off camera, one man can be heard saying he "knew something was fishy" about the SUV, while another man cracks that "the Taliban is in town. In an email to PIX 11 News (original source), De Amorim Teixeira says he and his wife "just want to forget all this."
