This piece is best known as the music used by the pioneering radio DJ, Alison Steele, 'The Night Bird', as opening for her show during which she'd read poetry over. According to Allison Steele, she had searched through 6000 albums to find the right music to set the mood for her late-night show, when someone played this piece for her, she instantly knew it was her music.
