PLEASE READ In the interest of getting the video done in under 5 minutes I forgot to mention that the tolerance seen in Al Andulas is going to be an important factor in the coming European Renaissance. As the Christians took the empire over they worked with Muslim scholars to translate many important ancient works from Greece and Rome that will be shared with the rest of Christian Europe and help kick start an era of new learning. xxxxx Hey this video is meant for AP World History students to get an overview of the chapter before or after they read. There is a lot of detail left out, it is just meant to be the basics so the text is more understandable. Also my pronunciation in parts will likely be off. My apologies and I do some due diligence ahead if time but sometimes I will get conflicting answers and other times I just don't have the mental bandwidth or oral dexterity to pull it off.
