A jovem conseguiu nota para ser aprovada pela ampla concorrência e por diversas vezes tentou resolver a questão diretamente com a universidade, mas não teve sucesso. Como nem a instituição de ensino, nem a família da estudante conseguiram provar de onde tinha partido o erro, a Justiça Federal assegurou a vaga dela.
