Dimitris Koufontinas, former leader of the dissolved Greek left-wing guerrilla group "17 November", has been on hunger strike for more than forty days, demanding to be in a prison close to his house. The group was active for over thirty years and is responsible for a range of attacks against imperialist targets. He demands the application of the law that he should be in a prison close to his house. But up to now, the Greek justice system and the government are refusing his demand.
