Velodus's video: Why is Rick Santorum still on CNN in 2020

As of 2020, CNN's most prominent conservative commentator is Rick Santorum, a man who has compared homosexuality to incest, 9/11 and having sex with dogs. Let's explore why CNN is putting this controversial figure on the air almost every night. [Exactly 7 months after posting this video, Santorum was fired from CNN after making disparaging remarks about Native Americans at a conservative conference.] Notes: *Okay so here's how and why this video exists. Back in 2020, I was closely following the US presidential election and was watching a ton of coverage on it, and from that, I found myself stunned at how ubiquitous Santorum had become on CNN, given his litany of absurd past statements. He was on alllllll the time, and so I got inspired to write a freelance article about him, which I then tried to shop around. However, I couldn't find any suitors for my article, so I decided to basically turn what I wrote into a YouTube video, and thus... we have this. I was conflicted about posting this, if only because I rarely am full-on political on this channel and wasn't sure how it'd be received, but ultimately, I decided it'd be good to have at least one video on my channel that established where I stood politically. *This is the very last video on this channel that was made under my old username.
