Youtube made me change it years ago.* UPDATE: As of June 8, 2011, Watertown's town council has decided to destroy Griffin School in order to build a CVS (although one is located only a few blocks away). It is a shame on the town council to once again, sell themselves and the town out. This building, although old, was historical and beautiful and had so much potential. ___ Visiting Griffin School - a place where I attended kindergarten through third grade. Built in the late 1800s, Griffin School was originally a highschool. Many generations went through these doors and graduated into the world. However, it is believed that some of those students and faculty still roam the halls since Griffin's closing in 1998. When we entered, we did not in any way deface or destroy property. In fact, we did out best to not even touch the furniture or papers around. Those who have been in here and messed around should be ashamed of themselves. It is our responsibility to preserve the precious history here.
