The spring-loaded closure maintains tension between a polished stainless-steel ball and its surrounding composite cage for tight, rattle-free operation and long service life. The largerR-Joint XL rod end version features a 17-4 stainless steel body that has been independently tested to 59,000 lbs. tensile strength. A carbon steel weld-on version is available as well.
