When I got my issued "gas mask" in the German Bundeswehr, I took a closer look at it and was a bit scared. Since the bottom opening is just sealed with a small rubber piece. So if this piece does fail or is missing, the gas will come to the inside of the CBRN mask. I am not an expert on chemical threats or protection against them. But I want to share some experience I had with this mask and will do a CBRN for dummies explanation. If you want to buy a mask, that you can use. Better do not buy cheap or surplus masks. And also invest in a suitable filter. But if you need a mask as a civilian, is up to you. For military and law enforcement it should be clear. So this video is not meant to be for you, guys.
