Good Times In The Badlands. A Hiking Story. After along summer of virtually no time in nature, I head west to South Dakota. We visit Custer State Park, Wall Drug and the Badlands. We stood in amazement of the landscape. We witnessed free roaming Bison & Big Horn Sheep. We tread through hot days and dozed blissfully in the cool nights air. We gazed at the Galaxy with its infinite stars and celestial bodies. Most importantly, we enjoyed the views. They expand in breathtaking fashion as we walked among them. We took it all in.
