robanca's video: MADEIRA TRAVELOGUE: Funchal medieval city levadas out to Santana Porto Moniz with commentary

ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: https://www.youtube.com/user/robanca/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=1 A visit to the Portuguese island of Madeira, starting in the capital Funchal where we explore the medieval city and then the Rua Santa Maria with its colourful painted doors. We take a cable car to Monte and the Palace Tropical Gardens. Across the island is Porto Moniz in the north west, where there are natural lava pools. Another day we walk from Funchal to the small fishing village of Camara de Lobos. We enjoy walking along some of the levadas, the ancient irrigation channels and then cross the mountain to Santana in the north east to see the traditional triangular houses.
