Starting in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, we visit Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, the temple at Pashupatinath, the Great Stupa of Boudhinath, the temple of Swayambhunath and the Thamel District. Flying to Varanasi in India, we take a boat ride on the Holy Ganges at dawn and explore this ancient city. We fly to Khajuraho where we visit the world heritage site of eighty five Hindu temples. From here a drive takes us to Orchha for the Royal Citadel and then on to Jhansi for a train journey to Agra. We visit the Taj Mahal at dawn, the Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. Another long drive via Fatehpur Sikri Ghost City to the pink city of Jaipur and the Amber Fort. We see the Palace of the Wind and take a rickshaw ride in the city before driving to the capital Delhi. Here we visit Jama Masjid - India's largest Mosque, India Gate, the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. From the city railway station we take a train and a further drive to Shimla. We board the Toy Train to Taradevi. Back in Shimla we visit the Vice Regal Lodge, the Ridge and Scandal Point. On our last day we visit Jacku Hill and the Hanuman Statue and then in the country villages we see views of the Himalayas. Suggest more wildlife and travelogues on the ROBANCA channel.
