An African Adventure in May 2017, with full descriptive commentary, visiting South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe - Part 2 Botswana. Starting at Pom Pom camp in the Okavango Delta where we explored the lagoon in a Mokoru, further afield in a motor boat and in a traditional safari vehicle. Later we transferred to the Muchenje Safari Lodge to view the wildlife in the Chobe National Park by land vehicle and motor boat on the Chobe river. We saw a vast range of animals including many species of antelope, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopard, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, mongoose and baboons. In the bird world we saw many lilac breasted rollers, hornbills, malachite kingfishers, coucals, bustard, oxpeckers, and many species of storks and water-birds.
