An examination of the FBI re-creation film and associated data indicates that the first shot came from the south storm drain on Elm Street, came through the limo windshield and entered the area of JFK's throat. Notes: 1) If the limo driver is able to shoot a person in the storm drain, then the person in the storm drain could also shoot the limo driver and passengers (opposing line-of-sights). 2) The shooter location is consistent with the famous Altgens photograph. 3) The proposed shooter location is consistent with the observed entrance shots into the front windshield and autopsy reports of a front entrance wound into the area of the throat. 4) The primary purpose of the 1st shot was to make the driver slam on his brakes, which is what the driver did according to witnesses and video data. This enabled other shooters to zero in on a nearly stationary target. 5) Other passengers in the motorcade commented that they smelled gun powder, which is consistent with this shooter location. 6) Strange marks in the ground near the south storm drain were caused (at least in part) by the storm drain lid, which had been recently moved. 7) The storm drain shooter was able to escape via underground storm drain tunnels. 8) The bullet trajectory is consistent with the exit wounds on the corpse and jacket. 9) The time the bullet was fired and the location of the limo is consistent with other data.
