Closing in on the record. Still doesn't compete with the record that was set 2 years ago, and the current record is 30 seconds faster than that one. Sub 37 is an ideal goal for any run, 36:36 is the time to beat. When I began this run, it was going fast enough that I decided to rush for a solid Chapter 1 time (the threshold to beat for a Chapter 1 World Record is 10 minutes or less). As such, I missed out on a Box early on. I would have been sub 37 if my item hop during Zardoland 4 didn't knock my wheel off the auto-path. Explosions and sword slashes can influence a wheel to move, and as such my item hop with a blast berry knocked it off, costing me well over 20 seconds (and some resources) just to get back on track (literally). Additionally, I didn't have a box to zip Zardoland 1 with, so that cost resources and time. This is more negligible because my Chapter 1 time finished fast because I didn't scour the levels for a Box, and instead took the Path of Exiles early. But had I received a Box during the first 2 levels, I would have definitely been in contention for the record. Another small time loss was reaching the Boiler. I had an elasto berry. I had a jump potion. It's a very quick route to reach the door; but instead, I was accidentally running the wheel, then decided to climb my way around (only to use the exact resources one could use if you had initiated from the entrance). Easily another 10-15 seconds here that could've been remedied. Lastly, the section transitioning the Temple to Zenith, I chose to climb around, rather than climb, use the stairs, then climb again. This is hard to know what the time loss was, but it certainly was not the fastest it could've been. I will have this record soon.
