El Departament de Salut, l’Organització Mundial de la Salut (OMS) i l’Associació Espanyola de Pediatria (AEP) recomanem l’alletament matern per als nadons, però, si pels motius que siguin, s’ha de fer amb biberons, prepareu-los amb seguretat. La llet en pols no és un aliment estèril i, ocasionalment, pot contenir microorganismes en petites quantitats. A més, la llet es pot contaminar amb una preparació incorrecta. Per això, s’han de seguir uns passos per preparar els biberons amb seguretat.
