After crossing the wide processional track I follow a much smaller path with great views of Burrington Combe and the AONB--the Mendip Hills. After a short while the West Twin Brook is crossed and the water is evident compared with my last visit when it was quite dry---East Twin Brook is also busy but easy to negotiate--such areas are quite welcoming when the weather is very hot because they provide shade.The geology of Burrington Combe is very evident. After both Brooks have been crossed I continue the hike along the track close to the small trees and shrubs. The next video will be the ascent to Beacon Batch and the trig. point--a much more exposed area
