A visual diary and reflective journal with descriptions of life's experiences and events in the World--a reminder of the healing power of walks and especially my wood walks--such a blessing to have such wonderful woods and beaches in the area I live--places to explore and to wander and to reflect.Over the years I have walked here many times and in all weathers and all seasons of the year watching and observing the wood and absorbed by its beauty and diversity.I feel a part of it in many ways--I know the trees and the crows greet me--such spectacular views as well from the top of the Hill Fort--a place steeped in history , geology and archaeology--we are so very lucky to have Worlebury Woods with its magnificent trees --the powerhouses of photosynthesis--Oxygen providers and Carbon Dioxide absorbers---networking Earthlings sensitive, alert and aware of the human footprint---So when I visit I keep a record --at type of log---a reflective insight--a snippet of Life here in this diverse habitat--this ecological paradise for many...I also take time to think about World events, personal events and the walks allow this expression and often help make sense of stuff.. Today Part IV is a spontaneous reflection of past life experiences as a young woman, a student of education 47 years ago in Reading and how those experiences have evolved with time and still very relevant and meaningful--the video will reveal....I am a Somerset person and love exploring it which retirement in many ways has assisted but older of course no longer running Marathons but taking my time enjoying each step and learning.....The bus pass helps and the train to get to places these days but I do miss the 126 bus very much--such an excellent service from WSM to Wells with all the little villages on route like Cheddar, Draycott, Westbury Sub Mendip and others--YES bring back the 126 for the whole route............................
