A continuation from Part I of the Motcombe St Mary visit on the trail of the ancestors of 2 of my Granddaughters, Daisy & Amber.The Broadway family were very prominent in the village and have an elaborate tombstone in the churchyard.Other names include Card, Lambert and Burden.The audio was created in 2008 but by 2023 much more research had happened extending the knowledge..Back in 2008 I used a hand held cassette tape recorder and used a 26 photo Instamatic camera---So images were restricted and expensive to buy and process----unlike in the years up to 2023 when digital cameras although expensive to buy for good quality were very cheap to use--endless photos images for free and videos. A re-visit to the villages would be great with a digital camera.....
