@Barton Mills Visit by Sheila in 2006, 'A Very Basic Audio with Some photos'---the early days of F.T
Yes folks 2006 the days when I used audio cassette and an instamatic camera to record visits to churches and graveyards---the days before I acquired a video camera--Hence the quality is poor in comparison but still a very important record in time....Perhaps the only record in time of this sort in this graveyard--hence valuable and significant for family tree research ,recording and sharing.........Gravestones do fall down, get removed, destroyed and a vital record lost-----So although the video is basic and crackly, especially outside where other sound interferences occur, it is better once inside the church----still a record---so in those early days these snippets were the starting blocks of discovery and recording and sharing----I have returned to many places in later years to use a video camera--better quality etc.. but need to return to places like Barton Mills where since 2006 many new discoveries for my FT research have happened--like the Brook family in the mid 1800s shown in the censuses as carpenters etc...and their death registered in the Mildenhall district but could have been buried at Barton Mills-----So folks a record in Time & Space---cannot be replaced...
