The final part of the walk where I have to cross the busy A38 and walk for about 10 minutes facing the fast traffic but soon reaching Hillyfields turning onto a very quiet track with great views as I walk down hill to the village of Winscombe to catch the 126 bus back to WSM. Half way down Hillyfields I have a rest on a conveniently situated bench for the rest of my picnic.Lovely views over to Sandford Hill, Banwell Hill Fort and woods. Just as I was leaving I became aware of a herd of cows with calves walking quite close by so I keep to the edge and briskly leave thru the gate--great day out in the fresh air with Peace and Beauty
