The walk continues down the main track towards the village of Kewstoke but I turn off further down for the beach at Sand Bay--------What a contrast to earlier in the year when the Covid-19 Lock Down brought people in their droves to this area----what was normally a very quiet unknown area suddenely became the place for people to come and exercise and enjoy the beauty----this lasted most of the Summer BUT now a return to normal---peace and space--Sand Bay has always been a much quieter area than WSM---very basic facilities and parking---no glitter or glamour--no MacDonalds etc.....bring a picnic and an umbrella....anyway the walk thru the wood was blissful---the trees asleep ready for Winter....beautiful trees......I love trees...
