After a pleasant country walk close to the small City of Wells---a walk of peace and exploration, a time to reflect in my visual diary & journal, a time to think of many things and people and a time to feel a sadness on the death of our Queen Elizabeth II---I am 70 born 10 days before King George Vi died and Elizabeth was made Queen in 1952---7 decades---all my life in my life--a type of virtual mother in some ways having lost my own in 1966...The Queen was definitely a part of our lives in so many ways---a constant and provided a type of safety--an anchor for our Nation and others around the World---my 25th cousin x2 removed--sharing Matilda of Huntingdon and David I of Scotland----a Tree connection but a part from sharing ancestral roots- --a sharing of Time and space, culture, events in so many ways...Yes we are Elizabethans and on this day I light a candle for her , QEII, for my family, friends and the World and write a few words in the Book of Condolescence----------The footage is short and the narration minimal in this holy place......God Bless Queen Elizabeth
