The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center's video: Water Governance

@Water & Governance
"Water is essential for life," states Barb Cosens in the new short documentary, Water & Governance. Water resources across the United States have become points of conflict for humans and non-humans who depend on water for life. But how did it get to this point? This question drove several legal scholars, human geographers and ecologists to work across disciplines to seek solutions. Watch as the Adaptive Water Governance team works to better understand the implications of water management decisions and work towards developing a set of tools to help society navigate a more sustainable future. This film was developed by the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC), a funder of the Adaptive Water Governance pursuit. SESYNC brings together the science of the natural world with the science of human behavior and decision-making to find solutions to complex environmental problems. To learn more about this project and others, please visit our website: https://sesync.org
