shangwu's video: Ding Jing Dong Jing - Functional Tai Chi Chuan Sensing and Reaction Exercises

@Ding Jing / Dong Jing - Functional Tai Chi Chuan Sensing and Reaction Exercises
These are functional Exercises to enhance (in a quicker way) your soft power attributes and learn skills for sensing (Ding) and understanding (Dong) deflecting, guiding, follow. These exercises can be practising before, after or in parallel with the Tai Chi Tuishou drills of Peng Lu Ji Han, or the Da Lu (great wheel). In any case, for you to learn real Tai Chi it is mandatory to the traditional Tai Chi Exercises aswell... (hopefully a next video on that). About the usage of knife, the exercise is not a knife fighting drill with all the skills envolved with what is best for that scenario, but as an exercise to leverage the soft skills of the Tai Chi. This to say, when closing the gap, it is used mainly a soft reception/defense and not a Hard Force-to-Force, which can be used in knife fighting aswell and in many situations that is the best option. But that would change the scope of the video, which is the soft power of Tai Chi Chuan and how to enhance the attributes and skills (check for the difference of both in google) Exercícios funcionais de Tai Chi Chuan por forma ganhar sensibilidade e reação.
